On April 2nd, I had the opportunity to photograph one of my bestest buddies! Barbara and I have been friends since high school and I think that we both get a kick out of the fact that over twenty years later, I am still photographing her! It all started with a high school photography class where I used "Babs" as my model for my photo assignments. What a good sport she was, posing behind trees and even climbing into the trunk of my 1987 Chevy Nova. I get an absolute kick out of that photo and it has become an infamous reminder of how much fun we had as crazy teenagers!
Fast forward to the year 2013, and Barbara once again agreed to help me with a photo assignment. This time, the assignment was a study of natural light photography using a simple picture window as the lightsource. I did this for an exhibit for an advanced photography class that I took for my never-ending continuing education in photography. (You can never learn too much!) After completing the photos for my exhibit, it was on to some fun glamour photography with strobes and still lights.
What fun we had, and I hope to do it again soon!
Love ya Barb!
